Patchwork Receiving Blanket
I decided since I had some leftover material from a rag quilt I made, I would whip up this lightweight receiving blanket. This took about 1 hr to complete. Here are the supplies I used.
42 6x6 Squares
1 yard of coordinating baby flannel
Thread
I sewed 7 rows of 6 squares together, ironing seams open after each row. Then cut a piece of flannel to match. Sewed right sides together leaving an opening to turn. Turn inside out & iron. Sew a zigzag stitch all around the edge and your done!! Won't this make a sweet little gift???
