Valentines Quilt... Only a few days late ;)
Here is my most Favorite quilt so far... I actually had this done in plenty of time to get it up for Valentines Day but the quilter was quite backed up and it took her about a month to quilt it...Uggg So I hurried & binded it just in enough time to put it away for next year... Bummer!! My most favorite part of this quilt is my Hubby's & My initials carved on the tree ;)

I Dig You!

I am going to repost a couple Valentines Ideas from years past...
I found these fun little shovels at Michaels Crafts for .59 cents each. I thought that was a great deal. So Tia and I will be making these for her friends for Valentines Day. As you can see in the top picture the shovels say "I Dig You". I used the "Happy Heart Day" set from Stampin Up!

Rosette Felt Flower Heart
Felt Rosette Flower Heart
Here is my sad attempt of a tutorial for my Flower Rosette Heart... First I cut out 144 circles that were approx 2.5 inches in size. Then I made 24 Rosette flowers by folding 4 felt circles in half then add a dab of glue, then glue them to a flat circle. Then fold 1 more circle in half then half again & glue it strait side up in the center. Clear as mud'? I couldn't get a clear pic of these steps as my Camera doesn't seem to want to take any close up pics??? Next I cut a big heart out of a piece of cardboard & covered the edges with a long strip of felt. Then glued the Rosettes to the heart & added a Ribbon Hanger. That's it! I LOVE how this turned out!!
Supplies Needed
1/2 Yard Red Felt (I got mine from Joanns)
Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
1 Piece of Cardboard

Rosette Flowers
I have seen these Flower Rosette Balls all over the Internet... So I'm not sure who to give the credit for this ingenious idea. I just love how these turned out. I decided to do them a little different & glue together the felt rosettes first, then glue them to the Styrofoam balls. They look like a big flower instead of perfect balls.. They are so pretty in person..

Elephant Treat Cover

To make this fun Treat cover I cut a piece of cardstock 4 inches x 12 inches long and scored at 7, 71/2 and 8. Then folded over top & cut with Scalloped Scissors. I used Stampin Up! Happy Heart Day Stamp Set and put M&M's in a little Bag inside. (Repost from last year)

The Best Valentines Day Ever!!
I gathered some supplies and since Ted is trying to GAIN weight.. I opted to add some calories to his 4000 calories per day plan. This is what I came up with.. A Candy Bouquet. I also made him his favorite Ginger Snap Cookies and was even able to hide all the evidence of fresh baked cookies before he arrived home.. Ted loved his gift I made him and thought it was pretty inventive.
