Rosette Felt Flower Heart

 Felt Rosette Flower Heart
Here is my sad attempt of a tutorial for my Flower Rosette Heart... First I cut out 144 circles that were approx 2.5 inches in size. Then I made 24 Rosette flowers by folding 4 felt circles in half then add a dab of glue, then glue them to a flat circle. Then fold 1 more circle in half then half again & glue it strait side up in the center. Clear as mud'? I couldn't get a clear pic of these steps as my Camera doesn't seem to want to take any close up pics??? Next I cut a big heart out of a piece of cardboard & covered the edges with a long strip of felt. Then glued the Rosettes to the heart & added a Ribbon Hanger. That's it! I LOVE how this turned out!!

Supplies Needed
1/2 Yard Red Felt (I got mine from Joanns)
Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
1 Piece of Cardboard
Approx price $3.00

Lace Cuff Bracelets

Look at these Gorgeous Cuff Bracelets my sweet daughter made..from a toilet paper roll. I showed her this beautiful cuff at bubblynaturecreations & she said she had seen one on her favorite blog too... simplyhandmadebypaige. Both sites have great tutorials. She got right to work & made these bracelets out of stuff we had around the house.

Funky Displays

My Daughter has a booth at our County Fair to sell her Hair Flowers & she needed a fun way to display some of them.. So off to the dollar store we went & this is what we came up with... I have seen similar things all over the net for cupcakes & cookies & thought since her booth is pretty small she needed some height to her display. The little car and shoe are just coin banks also from the dollar store. We used E600 to glue everything together. Total cost $10.00 for Both!!

Mod Podge Letters

I bought the letters for Jaxtin's room for .99 at Hobby Lobby (on sale) & decided I'd dress them up with some western scrapbook paper to match his room.. I turned the letters over on the paper & traced.. Trimmed & glued on with Mod Podge! I let them dry & added another coat to the top to seal. When they dried I used scrapbook stickers & some ribbon to dress them up!

Memory Ornaments

Since this was our first year without My Sweet Grandma who passed away in September I decided I wanted to make a Memory Ornament for my Christmas Tree. I used digital Scrapbook Software to design the ornament and had them printed out at Staples. Then I used Modge Podge to glue the paper on & used a thin layer of Modge Podge on the top.

Picture Board

I found this idea in the gallery at My Vinyl Designer and thought what a great gift idea! I had already downloaded the saying for my Vinyl Machine so I was happy to find something fun and useful to make with it. The metal strip is magnetic so I cut a few daisies out to hold the pictures.

Jewelry Holder

Ugg... I've had the flu for the last week and still trying to recover. Yuck. I did however get a few projects done. I seen this idea last year and I finally got around to making it. Super easy. Take an old frame and take out the glass and discard. Hot glue a piece of Screen to the inside where the glass would sit and wahla a nifty Jewelry Holder...We used paperclips to hand all the jewelry up. My teenage Daughter was in major need as all her necklaces were a tangled mess.
