Ahhh... You have to See these Pics.

When or Horse "Sweet Miss Daisy" had her colt she didn't even like him. It was so sad.. She kept looking at him like where did you come from.. She wouldn't even nurse him at first. We had to call in the "Farm Girls" (ok college girls that knew what to do) They had to Milk our Horse Daisy and feed the colt with a bottle... Then the next day she had it figured out that he wasn't leavin.. So then she started feeding him and all was good in the world. So when I got these Pictures in an email today I was amazed...& thought these Pics are too precious not to share. This is what the email read...

I have never seen anything like this. This is a newborn offspring of Taskin, Gypsy Stallion owned by Villa Vanners that was born in Oregon .
These pictures were taken immediately after his birth on April 6. . .the mare laid down and then he trotted around and crawled right up into her lap.

Horses..

Last Weekend we took the kids to the Clinton Anderson Wahl Walkabout Tour in Ogden. We sure learned alot about Horses. It was really neat to see the different training Techniques that you can use to train your Horses. This guy is really amazing with Horses... To bad I couldn't send our wild bunch to train with him.. He did mention something that struck me as really funny... That your Horse is probley always on the lookout for a new owner...Um Yea.. That is Daisy.. She's a real suck up to anyone that comes near her.. Now I know what she's really been up too. Any Takers??? Just Kidding we love her to death.. Even when she acts like she's in the Bronc circuit.

Shake Your Tail Feathers....

As tomorrow you may not have any..... Meet Mr. Socks (Above) He is an outside cat that THINKS he is an inside cat. Everytime one of the outside doors opens he runs in as fast as he can. It's like he's stalking us.. He is always waiting by one of the doors. Like he owns the place. Sometimes we allow him to stay inside so he can feel like he's the boss. So I'm not sayin this is all his fault BUT I am extremely impressed with the fact that Mr. Socks is so talented to open up the bird cage and select a Bird and fetch him up, ruff him up for awhile and remove all his tail feathers without making him part of his dinner. Taza & Ted

Here is Taza our new mare with my cute hubby. We adopted Taza from the Utah animal adoption center in Salt Lake. She has had a pretty rough life with her first owner dying of cancer and her second owner got lupus and was unable to take care of her. She almost died in child birth too.. Poor girl.. She use to be a lesson horse up here at USU so she is totally broke and we are happy to bring her back to her roots!! Our family is really excited to nurse her back to good health and love her.. Tia is really excited to have a sweet horse, that behaves to take to 4-H!! She was so cute when we brought her home...To the stables. She sniffed out everything.. You could tell she was scared to death.. She would only take little tiny steps like she was sure something was going to jump out and get her..

Here are 2 of our horses.. "Sweet Miss Daisy" & Baby "Hagen". He is now 3 weeks old. Our family is really enjoying having him around. It was quite the suprise to find out Daisy was expecting. The guy we bought her from last year failed to mention that she was pregnant So when we took off her winter Blanket we knew we were in trouble! So since we have to stable them (We live in a subdivision) We will have to sell him when he's about 4 months old.
